Located in Laranjeiras and very new. Mansur was very helpful as I made a mistake on dates and he managed to fit me in at no extra cost. Located near metro above a Lidl there is a kitchen and a pool on the roof all for very reasonable prices. Recommended.

Two and a half years ago my partner and I went to Lisbon and stayed in this residence. We had to wait a bit to respect the check-in time, but the stay was great. I only have kind words for Fernando, who was the one who received us. Everything was super clean and new. We were given the main room, which had: double bed, private bathroom and a nice big balcony. In addition, the location was very convenient since the subway was two steps away. The LIDL that was just below the building also helped us not waste time buying food before visiting the city. We went as students but I am sure that one day we will return to Lisbon and stay there.

The rating is so high that I am embarrassed to write this. A hostel with zero staff. No reception. No prior notice of no reception. You must notify us of your arrival time by email in advance. Check-in is only possible from 2 to 8 PM. I sent an email saying it would arrive at 4pm, but I replied that check-in is possible at 5pm/6pm. I thought the / sign was strange, but the employee came after 6 o'clock and made me wait for almost two hours. The foreign team that arrived with us called three times and finally got there. It turned out that most of the guests were angry about this issue on the day of arrival. The staff barely speaks English, so there is no use in getting angry. The foreign team that arrived at the same time made the wrong reservation, so two 8-foot-tall people had to sleep in a narrow double bed. At first, I thought it was racism or sexism, but seeing as the Western male team that checked in at the same time was having more trouble, it didn't seem like that. The apartment entrance and pool floor passwords were only given to those of us who asked. I don't know what happens to guests who don't ask at check-in. City tax of 6 euros is charged separately. After checking in, I didn't see any staff again for 3 days. Even when checking out, no matter how many times I emailed them asking what to do with the key, they chewed it up and left it on the desk. The room was small and one of the women's bathrooms didn't lock. The living room and kitchen are very spacious. The bed is good too. Many people take a shower with music playing at night. The apartment structure is very noisy, so all the guests come in late and don't pay attention to washing, using the kitchen, or running the washing machine.
