A beautiful hotel opened in April of 2023. Rooms are fully updated with usb chargers for international travelers. Hotel is a few minutes away from downtown Porto and 2 min away from a metro station stop. Rooms are super comfortable and neat and clean. They have a beautiful rooftop pool and gym. They are building an extension which will have an indoor pool and garden as well. Their breakfast setup is beautiful and has a variety of options including gluten free, vegan and vegetarian.

Best place to stay in Porto. Newer Hotel, rooms are well decorated and comfortable for a stay. The beds in the room were great and comfy. Very helpful and friendly staff and on site resturant is a hidden gem. We were pleasantly surprised by the food quality and the service here. Some of the best desserts we had here at the restaurant. We would go back to this place again. Proximity to most tourist locations is walking distance.

The location is not that ideal but it is not far from the center of the city. It took me about 20 minutes to the bridge on foot; I hike fast. In November, no rooftop bar or pool which I didn’t expect. I guess the off season begins this month here when the weather is dreary. It was, indeed. The breakfast is good but won’t blow you away. The room is nice and they keep everything up to speed. You get an upscale vibe for sure. The gym is basic yet the machines are new. Everything is nice and clean. I enjoyed working out there. The views from both sides of the building are nothing to write home about. The park in the vicinity is under construction. I think it will be better when the construction is completed.

A brand new Marriott owned Renaissance Hotel in Porto. It is refreshing to see a hotel in such mint condition. The location may seem a bit outside the tourist centre but it's literally just a pleasant 5 minute walk into the action. Lapa is a quiet residential part of Porto. There is also a train station at the hotel, that connects to the airport. Very convenient The rooms are new and very comfortable. The bar and restaurant are good too. Breakfast is one of the best in Europe. Lots of choices and it is open until much later than most hospitals. Most of the staff at the restaurant are very friendly and service is very good. In room dining is a bit expensive but I suppose it's not a common concept in Europe. The gym is very well equipped and is situated on the rooftop. The swimming pool is the highlight of the hotel. With views over Porto and the Atlantic Ocean, it is the best place in town to relax. Highly recommend Renaissance Porto to everyone visiting the city.

Stayed over a weekend with my partner to run the Porto half marathon. Well presented hotel with a modern vibe to the interior (understand it was fairly newly built), nice bar and restaurant on-site. Room was neat and cosy. The rooftop pool was a real highlight, would recommend going up for a drink at dusk. The buffet breakfast was great too. Staff were all pleasant and courteous. Really cool gym but limited equipment/fairly small. A bit of a hike from city centre, but overall great value and would stay here again.
