About a 10 minute walk from the Nishi Nippori train station, where you can use the Yamanote line (the central circle line connecting to shinjuku, shibuya, harajuku etc - all the tourist hotspots) Its located in a relatively quiet and peaceful residential area, and there is a 24 hours Lawson about 100 metres away. Its a bit out of the way, but a short 10 minute walk down a straight road connects you right to the central train line which allows you to get everywhere you need to go. Trains come about every 4 minutes from 5AM until midnight. Our room was amazing value - £60 a night with 2 days notice! The room has great amenities such as a washing machine, a hob, a microwave, a fridge and a freezer, would highly recommend!

Came way before check-in time hoping to store our luggage before we venture off, and the receptionist (who came right away once we called bc there was no one at the front desk) allowed us to store our bags and even brought it up to the room for us once it was ready. The room is very luxurious compared to all the hotels we've stayed at so far in Japan. +Trash bins, washing machine, TV, slippers, patio, sink, fridge, microwave, tooth brush, etc all provided. They give A LOT of towels ❤

It's a great place for a couple or a single traveller. Great shower and a washing machine! It has a small balcony too. It's a 15 minute walk from Nippori station which has excellent connections to get around Tokyo. There other stations nearby too. There is a nice supermarket halfway from Nippori station.

We stayed for almost two weeks in May 2018. Very spacious rooms with comfortable beds, washing machine, cooking facilities and a nice and fresh bathroom. The communications are good, it is just a short walk to the Yamanote line which can take you to Ueno, Ikebukuro, Harajuku and Shibuya quickly. We are a family from Sweden (two adults and one child) and we really enjoyed our stay at Kalahaai. The staff was friendly and the service was terrific.
