My wife and I stayed at this 500 year old building for 4 nights in mid September. The location in the old town, just below the castle, was quiet and within walking distance to all major attractions. The room was clean and the architecture medieval creating a unique atmosphere fitting this remarkable old city. Plenty of restaurants and pleasant walks as you stepped out the front door was a nice convenience when tired. The residence manager, Irina, was always available, helpful, and knowledgeable making our stay that much more enjoyable. Considering the reasonable price and excellent location, I would strongly recommend Residence Thunovska to couples or families visiting Prague.

We had one of the rooms under the roof. It had a nice view. It was not too spacious, but for a few days enough room to sleep. We enjoyed it very much and I can recommend this location. It is very close to the major attractions. The owner is very friendly. City tax has to be paid in cash and in Czech Kuronas, so you need to have 25 CZK per person and night in cash to cover for this. I would consider to stay there again when going back to Prague.

I stayed at Thunovska for a week in Augusta and had an excellent experience. Located in the heart of Old Prague, beautiful, spacious rooms, clean and very secure. Irena the manager was very friendly and welcoming. Paloma who runs the cafe was also very friendly and the breakfasts were excellent. Overall a five star experience, highly recommended, also quite inexpensive.

LOVED this place! Beautiful, spacious apartment with an AMAZING location! It is literally at the bottom of the stairs to Prague castle. The owner is super friendly and there's a cafe located on the ground floor. There's a tavern nearby (next door or a couple doors down I don't quite remember). The location is just absolutely amazing. We LOVE Prague, this was our 3rd visit, we've stayed in this area 2 of the 3 times we've been. Stay here, you won't regret it, especially if you've never been to Prague! Spend the extra money to stay city center!
