We stayed at several hotels throughout our Thailand trip and this was our favorite hotel! We only stayed for one night, but the location to the temples and shops, the view of Wat Arun, and the staff made our one night unforgettable. The rooms are on the smaller side, but the beds are comfortable. We found we didn't miss the space because we were out exploring Bangkok. The hotel is also down a quiet alleyway making it a great spot to escape the noise. I highly recommend this hotel!

The staff was so kind and very genuine. The rooms we were wonderful and if you’re worried about the AC working, that is definitely not an issue! You get a beautiful view of the palace and in walking distance of wonder restaurants and shops. The beds are a bit hard but that seems to be the norm around here. The water pressure is great and everything seemed pretty well kept! I would definitely book here again.

Great location for several of the iconic visitor sites of Bangkok as it's within easy walking distance of the Reclining Buddha complex, the Grand Palace and a 2 min ferry to Wat Arun. The hotel and area around still have a feeling of old Bangkok and also felt very safe at night. A couple of caveats, the hotel is not front line on the river so only the top two floors have great views of Wat Arun, the rest like ours on floor 1 have a partial view which also takes in some delapidated buildings. Also most of the rooms only have french balconies. That said it's a great place to stay, the staff are excellent, led by Toby. The rooms are not big but have good fittings and a lovely big bed, good free WiFi and power sockets. The rooftop restaurant bar on the 5th floor has the best views around but it's not big and the views are that good that visiting parties can dominate so if staying you need to book well in advance.
