Overall a disappointing experience. From the moment we walked into the hotel it felt like we were being done a favour by being allowed to stay there. We had initially booked a sea view room which was not available but the staff member didn’t seem apologetic or to care to be honest. When we finally managed to check in there were insufficient towels, bathrobes in our room as well as a cot in the centre of the room. The lights didn’t work and continued to flicker despite this issue being raised. The quality of the food and drinks was disappointing. But most of all the service was shocking. Expect to wait around half an hour to receive your food or drinks order even if it is a simple soft drink order. The breakfast buffet was chaos with no service for drinks, tables not being cleaned when people had left and no cutlery available. The icing on the cake was waiting 45 minutes for our bags to be collected on departure - only after calling 7 times did this progress. Direct quote from a member of staff ‘this is not a luxury hotel’ I 100% agree. Don’t waste your money!

Rooms are great, spacious and clean. Service was abit of an issue especially having booked the hotel as part of an event destination. It was long getting things done but got sorted nevertheless. Food is great with lots of options! Various pools available and family friendly location.

Absolutelly amazing hotel! We stayed for a week with family. Whole stuff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms tidy and really nice. Food just fantastic with variety of cousines and flavours. Beach with small bars, yellow sand and various facilities for sports. We were really impressed and spent wonderful time. The only minus is the distance to Dubai, but you can make there in 1-1,5 hour. In overall I really enjoyed the stay and highly recommend!

I don’t think i ever spent as much time trying to make reservations anywhere as much i did when i tried to make reservations to book a room there. It would help to properly train staff to speak very good English, since being over the phone makes it harder to understand if English is not the first language. It would also help if staff was trained in really knowing the rooms so as to be properly informed. One person told me the sea front villas have rooms either on the ground floor or on the 1st floor while another told me that rooms are only on the first floor. I asked questions and clarifications and she was getting more and more frustrated and unhelpful. Then because we are planning on spending NY there, they said there is a gala dinner mandatory for all guests and a separate payment link will be sent to me for that. I’m sorry… what? Is this a joke? I appreciate the hotel organizing a dinner but by no means can it be mandatory. The first person i spoke to wouldn’t budge about the gala dinner so i hung up. I then spoke to someone else and said that we were not interested in the gala dinner and we had plans so the hotel « graciously » made an « exception ». All in all i think i spent 3 to 4 hours on the phone trying to book a room with highly incompetent staff. UPDATE I am still waiting from the phone call as per the reply to my post.

Second time that I went there. The staff is absolutely amazing. They are very attentive to families with kids and are very helpful. The room that I stayed could have better maintenance but it was comfortable and very clean. I booked two bedrooms and we got separated, it was explained to me that they were fully booked and since I did the online check in they could not change them for me. So my tip is, do not use the app to check in for your rooms. The food in all the outlets was very good and there was a lot of choices available. They need to change the salt shakers though. Overall very positive experience and if you ever need a staycation I strongly recommend it.
