During my recent trip to Barcelona, I opted to stay at the Room Mate Gerard, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. This boutique hotel is situated right in the heart of the city, making it easy for me to explore local attractions. Upon entering the hotel, I was struck by its modern design which still managed to feel warm and welcoming. My room was tastefully decorated, offering an incredible level of comfort. The bed, in particular, was exceptionally comfortable, a real boon after long days spent sightseeing. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the hotel's rooftop terrace with its pool. The view over Barcelona from there was absolutely stunning, and it was a delight to take a refreshing dip and then relax on a sun lounger. One evening, I even enjoyed a drink up there as the sun set – a truly fantastic experience. The breakfast at the hotel was another pleasant surprise. The range of fresh and tasty options provided the perfect start to my day. Additionally, I must mention the staff at Room Mate Gerard; their friendly demeanor and helpfulness made my stay even more memorable. The location of the hotel was also ideal, close to both interesting sights and convenient transport links. In summary, I can say that my stay at Room Mate Gerard greatly contributed to a wonderful Barcelona trip. My husband and I stayed at Room Mate Gerard for a long three-day weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location is perfect: walking distance to most of the attractions and many great restaurants, yet still peaceful and quiet. The rooms were thoughtfully designed and clean. We especially appreciated true blackout curtains and spacious bathroom. The staff was attentive and friendly. Our only minor note would be insufficient noise insulation from other guests: a party that stayed on the same floor as us routinely slammed the door to the room waking us up at night and early in the morning. That being said, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel!

Lovely stay. Service is great. From the minute we arrived we were welcome with a big smile. Our type of room was not immediately available so they kindly upgraded us to a room with a balcony and offered a complimentary drink. The bedding is super comfortable. The location of the hotel is unbeatable, in a quiet area yet near of shops and restaurants. Special mention goes to the breakfast, super good and the team serving was so lovely. Would give you all 6 stars if we could. Victor & Stephane.

Had a room with a view. Everything is super clean. The room is really amazing. Staff is supper friendly and nice. The location is perfect. Breakfast is included, what is just perfect. Food is delicious. Honestly, I really enjoyed my staying here. Will definitely come back again. For me it is a treasure on booking😅. There is nothing bad I can say. Also there is everything you may need in the room. And what is a great bonus is that they have WhatsApp, so you can text and address any question immediately, as I’m not fan of calls that’s just amazing😅❤️
