Rooms had strange paintings, sink was inside bedroom and not inside bathroom!! and bed frame which made it not really easy on the eye. Also sink water is hard water which made my skin super dry. Location was in a really not that safe area I was scared while walking after sunset trying to dodge drug dealers , drunk people and criminals getting arrested by police almost every night. The only good part is the breakfast restaurant staff they were super Friendly and accommodating and kind. All three of them especially that amazing lady who didn’t speak much English but she tried hard to communicate with me and assist me with whatever I needed. Also the other two gentlemen were smiling always to everyone and were very nice. When checking in the front office staff wanted me to leave 50 euros as deposit in case “something breaks” which was really weird and strange. I stayed in few room mate hotels before among many other hotels in Europe and this was the only hotel that asked for deposit! It was weird and when I said why they said hotel policy as if I should just shut up and pay which i refused to pay and since that moment I felt the unfriendliness each time. Hospitality is a huge talent not every one knows how to do it. Come to the Middle East and you will learn how to be friendly, hospitable and kind. It’s my first time in Barcelona and not sure I’ll ever return.

Booked a room with a jacuzzi the room and jacuzzi was perfect. Was surprised for what i paid for the room that breakfast was not included and even more surprised that the fridge that had about 20 euro worth of mini drinks and chocolate that they wanted to charge me for again for paying a thousand euro for my room which didn't include breakfast and trying to charge extortion prices for 20 euro worth of drink and chocolate was definitely a disappointment. Hotel itself perfect location bus to and from airport no even a 3 minute walk, everything is right outside the hotel. I loved it and location would definitely stay again.

We were very pleased with our stay overall. Firstly, the location is excellent. On one side is the Gothic Quarter and on the other is the Passage de Garcia. We had an excellent time exploring both ends. It is well serviced by metro and also plenty of cabs to hail easily. The service frm the counter to the housekeeping were excellent. We were welcomed with some chocolates and a welcome card and on the last night, a little card to say goodbye with another sweet treat! Nice touch! Always asking us if we needed anything and in our last day, even offered to call us a cab w/o us asking for one. Wish the beds were a little firmer. Seems like it is well used and the sides are less firm.

Rooms are small, but attractive and logically designed with enough space for your personal items. Front desk staff are very welcoming. The hotel is perfectly located in a central area. One of our two rooms had a bathroom that smelled like mildew, but I didn’t complain because we had two rooms next to each other and liked the arrangement. Other than the restroom smell, the rooms were spotless. When compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in this hotel is top quality for the price point.
