Great value for price! We stayed here for 7 days and had a lovely time. Located near Hyde Park, Paddington station and many great local spots to eat + convenience stores. Staff were kind, friendly, accommodating and professional. House keeping kept our place spotless and updated our complimentary toiletries when requested. Will admit that the walls are a bit thin so if you’re a light sleeper I’d suggest having ear plugs but guests were mostly quiet and respectful. If you’re looking to lounge in your room I wouldn’t suggest this spot as it feels like more of a place to rest your head after a long day of sightseeing but it wouldn’t deter me from booking it again as the location was unmatched for being able to get around easily and be in the thick of London action while being in a quiet, residential neighbourhood.

The rooms are very old with holes in the wall and the bed is cracked. The walls are too thin so you can hear every sound. The door opens and closes poorly and there is also a hole under it through which light flows into the room at night. There is only one outlet in the entire room, behind the TV. Another big minus is the bedding, in which your whole body itches. Dust and dirty glasses in the bathroom, generally not cleaned. We had a problem with the shower as only boiling water flowed. However, we have solved the problem. The only advantage is the excellent location. It only takes a few minutes to the subway. We will never return to the hotel, it made our London experience incomplete.

Super convenient location at a couple of minutes walk from Paddington. It would be a perfect location if you are travelling light and want standard rooms at below average prices. There's not a lot of space inside the rooms to move around a lot or keep lots of luggage, atleast in the single room I got on the fourth floor as you can see from the video - infact there was literally no space to move from one side of the table to the other, which meant I had to climb on the bed to access the wardrobe on the other side of the entrance. But the room was clean and everything worked, including the hot shower. The staff at the reception was good and helped with my queries. The entrance lobby area is quite large but with a few stairs to reach it. Also the lifts are quite small. Both these points further mean you be very challenged if carrying a lot of luggage. But if not, you will find it perfectly adequate for your basic needs and worth the price at such a central location.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and clean rooms… the corridors are like a maze though, friendly signs point to your room numbers, but be sure to remember your route as there are no signs pointing back to the elevators or exit. I spent 5 mins wandering through the labyrinth thinking I might miss my dinner reservation ;) Rooms could do with a freshen up, and there was a distinct lack of plug sockets, meaning my phone alarm was on the opposite side of the room, which may not be a bad thing, forced me out of bed. Mattress was, at first impression very hard and lumpy, but due to exhaustion I didn’t care too much after the days events. Breakfast was included, nothing special and there was limited seating, so I ended up sat with another family, which felt on the wrong side of sociability in London.
