Great hotel, everything has style down to the carpet. Great views from the panorama rooms and the rooftop restaurant. Although pricey highly recommend either the panorama or suite rooms. Other rooms are small. Recommend going during the summer months. The off season is usually their time to conduct maintenance on the historical structures. Scaffolding blocks some views.

This is quite a nice hotel visually and ideally located for the Acropolis and other sites. I had one of the top rooms with a fantastic view over the temple of Zeus. However the room was actually quite small considering the cost. More importantly, it says on the website that the rooms are soundproof. This is not actually the case. We had room 601. Not only could you hear people at the life outside and going upstairs to the rooftop restaurant, there was a bar with very loud music next door on the Saturday until gone 4am. I do not expect to have to wear earplugs in such an expensive hotel. If you have a cheap room with a view of the pool its probably quiet, but when you have a panoramic view room its not. Given the number of tour parties staying there, I would also have expected the breakfast to be much better. The coffee was really weak and the choice limited. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel

We were concerned after booking this hotel and then read the reviews. I'm a picky person but I loved this hotel. Yes it's a bit dated as it's the period Greek decor, but other than that, it was clean, convenient and the staff were excellent. Our room was large with great views and the breakfast was an added bonus. Don't listen to the negative reviews!

This was a very good hotel with nice views, especially at night. Lobby is beautifully decorated. Breakfast Buffet was excellent with a 40ft table of various foods. Rooftop restaurant was romantic with excellent food, especially the lamb. The view is awesome. Rooms were spacious with European decor. Plenty of outlets to charge your gadgets. Bathtub was huge and relaxing. Room service was good. Hotel is centrally located for those who love walking.

My wife and I traveled to Athens on our honeymoon! This was our first time in Greece and the first place we stayed! We loved our time here! The hotel is in an AMAZING location! Close to everything! My wife and I regularly walked from the hotel to all different places in Athens! The views from the rooms are also fantastic! We had a view of the Parthenon and were directly across from the Temple of Zeus! We could not have asked for a better location and view for our first visit to Athens! The rooms are very nice and spacious! The bathrooms are also extremely luxurious! The service was fantastic! We dropped laundry off downstairs in the morning and it was back in our room when we returned from dinner! The hotel assisted us in finding a location for my wife to get her hair done, and also arranging transportation to the airport! We loved our time here and thought the prices were very reasonable! When we return to Athens we will definitely be staying here again!
