Old and dirty hotel. The rooms don't have a chair or table. The bedsheets and towels are stained from previous guests. The a/c barely worked. Breakfast non-existent. Staff overall rude.

Great location that's not far from Bangla Road and far enough off the road where it's quiet and tranquil. Service was great and the rooms were spacious and clean. I will definitely stay here again as it's a good value and great location.

Truly Kampung Atmosphere in the compound of the Village Hotel. Only 500 meters walk to Patong Beach, and there are restaurants, convenient Stores, Massage Parlours to serve all types of tourists. Some may not feel comfortable for it's Kampung Atmosphere room illumination. But I feel good.

Booked thru a outside agency. Thought I had requested a handicap room. When we arrived, they gave us a 3rd floor room and they have no elevator. Be aware of that fact when booking. They worked with us and we got an upgraded villa at a slightly discounted price to make up for the confusion. Location is good. Service was fantastic. I want to mention Stefan, Q and Ja particularly, for they all went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of. If you want a hotel with great service and with the essence of original Thailand, I highly recommend this place.
