My husband surprised me with a trip here for my birthday, staying here in this family run hotel was lovely , service was amazing as very traditional. I would highly recommend the cooking class , the hammam and the massage, nothing like I've experienced before and would definitely do it again.

Really nice Ryad and in a good location. My only criticism is not of the accommodation itself but the area in which it is located. There were a lot of people trying to scam us around here however I don’t know how common that is elsewhere.

Ryad Amiran is the worst place to stay in Marrakech. This is a substandard B&B that doesn’t even worth 2 stars. Located in a dirty and not safe area of old Medina, my friend and I had to pay for a private driver to go out at night and spend 25 euro each way because no taxis were allowed to stop in front of the hotel. We arrived on the night of Oct 27/28th and found a dirty room, with used soaps and towels and hair all over the bed. We had to sleep fully dressed on towels. The management after receiving our complaint put the status on our reservation as no show so by their cancellation policy we are not eligible for a refund. The owner offered us another room that was much cleaner and decent but still very low standard. No TV, no minibar. They even charged us for the water! We had a terrible experience and we felt threatened and not safe . The room has no tea&coffee facilities, no heating or fan extraction in the bathroom. The staff was helpful but not English speaker, the management and owners are arrogant and aggressive. They don’t have a spa but only a room where you can have massages and treatments on demand. Luckily we found a much better hotel where we continued our stay in Marrakech but we still have a dispute open to get a refund from that awful place.
