The location is the best thing about this place. We found that housekeeping did a good job too. Parking is a pain unless you want to pay for it. But if you don’t have a car, the bus stop is right outside and is only $4 per adult/ride ($2 if you have a registered Bee card). Day time front desk staff need to work on being more welcoming, friendly and more customer focussed. We had a ground room floor on the roadside and it was loud and you can hear people in the rooms next door and in the hallway. The standard rooms have double beds, not queen sized beds so it’s a tight fit for two adults, would be fine for one person. There is only a very tiny closet and very basic amenities available in the room. There was no hair dryer or air con unit. The rooms are very tired/old - definitely overdue for some renovations.

Came here on a work trip and was very happy with the rooms. Everything was clean and rooms refreshed each day (only stayed for 3 nights). We requested an additional stand to place our bags on and they organised it straight away. Great views and easy, flat walk into town. Helpful service as well as they arranged 2 large taxis for us with short notice. Nice atmosphere in the bar upstairs. Can't comment on the restaurant or pool as I didn't use either but I heard the buffet breakfast was $37.

They call themselves Rydges Luxury Resort, this was not a luxury resort at all. Rooms are tiny! No wardrobe. Bathroom had no exhaust and got wet after using shower. Room service did not top up toilet paper and we ran out. We could hear loud music and noise from other guests late at night while trying to sleep. Limited parking outside and ended up having to pay 15 dollars for parking per day. Just terrible! I don't recommend.

Not a good experience at all. We booked a standard room for 2 adults and the room had one tiny single bed. Staff was rude and dismissive saying this is all the hotel offers and that there is nothing they can do about it. We tried requesting them for an extra bed and were ready to pay for it too, but they don't have any such facilities. The rooms lack basic facilities and are not in a good condition. Really disappointed as this hotel was extremely expensive and horrible service. The room is very different from what is shown in the pictures. Very bad value for money.

Dissapointed. Never had so many little issues in a hotel before. In the end gave up to go for reception again. Staff is incredibly helpful and kind, but trying to play catch up in a game they never win. Clearly not much experience and not good English, but very willing and enthusiastic, so one day they will do great. Housekeeping on the other hand need more training. Tea-stain on bath tub, broken pencil, toothpaste in cup etc. That room was not cleaned properly in a long time...
