I had really good time here. Unfortunately visit was too short. Located in Asakusa on a quiet street but just in few minutes walking from main walking streets with shops/bars/restaurants. My room was big, with living room and private washroom. Other options are available also. Ryokan has lovely public bath, when can be used for free private for 30 min. And of course people who are working here were very nice and kind. I believe also some activities available, but didn't have time to try. Thank you.

As a solo female traveler, I was initially concerned about safety, but the warm hospitality of the staff immediately put me at ease. The allure of a private bath was the initial draw, and it exceeded expectations. The post-bath ice pops were a delightful touch, providing a refreshing conclusion to a relaxing soak. The futon bed, a staple of Japanese tradition, offered a surprisingly comfortable night's rest. The ryokan's location in the heart of the Asakusa shopping area was a significant advantage. With its proximity to diverse dining options, including tantalizing ramen, soul-warming udon, and savory gyudon, the culinary adventure was as enticing as the cultural one. What truly sets Ryokan Kamogawa apart is its staff's exceptional hospitality. Their genuine warmth and eagerness to ensure a memorable stay left an indelible impression. I'm already planning a return visit for a more extended stay, a testament to the ryokan's allure and the magic it weaves for its guests.

Excellent location right in the center of the Asakusa attractions. The rooms are very clean. We requested for early check in and luggage storage and the staff tried their best to accommodate our needs.

Excellent Japanese Ryokan ❤️ The hosts were very welcoming, they make you feel at home. The onsen was an excellent experience to recover some energy after our long flight to Japan. The rooms and the ryokan in general is well equipped for guests' needs. I could do some Japanese calligraphy that I enjoyed with some nice Japanese iced tea. Overall I appreciate how thoughtful the hosts were. Super recommended!
