Safari Park Hotel was just a marvellous place to be with great vicinity. At safari Park Hotel I had a feeling of total security and which indeed it was in reality. I loved marvelled everything at Safari Park Hotel. I real congratulate the whole management at large. Food was was just delicious with excellent service.

Enjoyed my stay overall. The food was delightful, service commendable, and the rooms were both clean and spacious. The well-maintained grounds add to the appeal, despite the slightly distance location from the town. Highly recommend for a Kenyan retreat that offers a city escape within the city itself.

Great ambience, service and variety of food for the buffet (the chicken was however very dry). Easy to access. I highly recommend. Wouldn't know about the rooms since was there for a dinner only

So Safari Park is this tropical Oasis off a major highway... When you land from the airport you drive quite some distance before joining Thika Road. Amidst the traffic, insurmountable construction and dense population you land in what seems like Eden. The place is a bit confusing but it works well as you embark on an adventure with bridges, spouting water and terrazzo stricken tiles leading to the restaurants, pools, conference halls and rooms. So, I'm in Nairobi excited about the barbecue (nyama choma) and in the evening after a busy day head to the restaurant where I presume all the action is... The concierge is unwelcoming and directs me to nowhere, so I pick a table and seat. Place is empty safe for about 5 patrons. I head to the salad bar and get acquainted. As soon as I seat the friendliest waiter shows up with four sauces and salsa, and proceeds to walk me through the sauces garlic, chilli, hot and sweet, and, one other.. I forget. Followed swiftly by a scalding hot plate and I am warned not to leave kebab fingers on the plate, I oblige. Moments later a stream of well marinated meats come to my table... I love my meat medium rare so the first thing I notice is the well done meat and I dread the hot plate because it keeps cooking the meat. So we move quickly from savoury and we'll seasoned to chewy and hard. I power through and have a few bites before they bring me a raft of starch accompaniments. The steady stream persists and the pork and lamb stand out... But alas. No waiters, no nicest grill masters and I'm confused... Did they run out of meat? There's only five of us in the entire establishment, which can potentially seat maybe 80 patrons. Ten minutes go by and not a peep. I fold my napkin and get up to leave, no dessert no nothing... As I approach the concierge the waiter dashes in my direction and asks me to sign for the meal against my room. I comply and quickly exit. Unfortunately, I'd never recommend the restaurant, go to Carnivore for a better and delectable experience.
