My husband and I loved this place! The owners were so friendly and made us a delicious breakfast everyday. We even had a heated bed which was so nice because it was winter when we came. Every review I have seen has complained that the hotel is on a hill (it is) BUT all of Sa Pa is on a hill…. So I don’t believe those reviews are accurate. You have to walk on a hill no matter where you walk here. There are only Taxis. NO grabs! We definitely recommend this place.

Lovely family running this hotel. We liked the quiet location, and the Vietnamese style breakfast. We moved to this hotel because I was sick and our other hotel had no heating. Unfortunately room 102 had very bad electrics. We could only have hot water or heating. Not both at the same time, or the fuse tripped, and sparked when reset. We couldn't even use the hairdryer without tripping the air conditioner. Sometimes the power blew with only the air conditioner on 20 degrees. It tripped at some point during the night, which meant we woke up freezing cold. We couldn't turn it on to warm up, because we needed a shower. The laundry was a bit expensive at 50 dong/kilo. I would be happy to stay again. But not in room 102.

Really nice hotel with a really friendly Family. You need to be fit to walk up the Street but that's ok because it's in sapa :) they booked a bus to Hanoi with Pick up Service for us and nothing worked. Over 1 hour late and NOT in the old Quarter. So we need to pay a taxi. Never again.
