Amazing place! The staff is caring and the rooms are newly built, super clean and without any bugs. Surprisingly some of the fastest wifi we had in Bali 😊 Definitely recommend staying here is you're coming to nusa penida!!

Good hotel. Only has 4 rooms which are separate detached bungalows. I chose this place because the bathroom looked clean and because it has hot water. The bathroom was definitely clean for Indonesian standards. The toilet was clean. The water was hot but it does run out very quick. I think 2 bungalows share a boiler because the hot water ran out even quicker when there was someone in the next bungalow. If you are a guy it should be ok but for women expect to have a cold shower for most of your shower. The breakfast is basic. I would choose the omlett option as it incorporates tomatoes and onions and is actually quite nice. The pancake is from a ready made mix I think because it is a bit thick and tastes artificial and can get a bit boring after a while. You also get fruit although the fruit isn't really very nice which I was surprised about and coffee or tea. (The tea is green tea not English breakfast tea so I couldn't really enjoy a decent cup of tea) Also I noticed that breakfast was always cold. Possibly the food was made in advance and then not reheated. I don't mind this however I would prefer freshly made food to avoid possible illness. We stayed for quite a few days and the room was not cleaned everyday although I think they do sweep it. However we got fresh towels on the third day. We had to ask for extra soap etc so you may need to ask for this. We hired a motorbike from the resort for 60,000 IDR per day. (The owner quoted a higher fee via email) The roads are terrible on Nusa Penida and unfortunately our bike got a puncture but the hotel doesn't pay for any fixes unless the damage is to the engine. We paid 50,000 IDR to fix the puncture. The bike was ok and we did use it to go all around the island. I would return to this hotel if I came back to Nusa Penida. Its in a good location but only if you ride a motorbike. There are a few restaurants in walking distance but you would need a motorbike to get to the main town area. Improvement suggestions 1- do something to ensure an adequate amount of hot water. 2- provide a table inside the room. (There is a cupboard with shelves although not hanging space but a table would help). 3- offer more breakfast options and English breakfast tea. 4- ensure there is guest collection from the harbour. (I organized this in advance with the owner who said she would be there with a sign but didn't turn up. Luckily my husband had an Indonesian phone chip so we could call the resort. However this was very inconvenient particularly as I was expecting a pick up service) The reason for the high rating is because of the 2 guys working there. They were very friendly and despite us asking a lot of questions they were always ready to help.
