Booked an Essential Queen room for an overnight stay but when I came into my room it was a twin room on the 3rd floor. Didn’t complained about it because there was a car waiting for me since I was just dropping off my luggage. Came night time, wanted to sleep early but can’t because of some loud music, tried to ignore it but after over half an hour, it’s really not helping. Complained about it and wanted to get another room and have to make another call to make it happen. Finally, after almost midnight I got moved up to 7th floor but still got a twin room even though I asked for a queen room and was told I was getting one. Didn’t happened, and it was too late to make another complaint. On early checkout, I inquired about my boxed breakfast as I had requested during my checked in and also made a call for my choices but nothing was ready. I had to ask my Grab driver to wait and we waited but after 5 minutes I had to go. Not a good experience if you’re catching an early flight or just wanted to be early at the airport. Also, the rooms stay bright even if you turn off all the lights. It has this bright wall light near the door that you can’t turn it off, like those guide lights at movie theaters but this one is so bright. If this bothers you, one trick is to block your luggage to minimize the brightness.

You get your money's worth here. I stayed here for one night only, and I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff in my transactions with them. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The mattresses I inspected did not have any evidence of bed bugs. They also had all the toiletries and towels that you may need in the bathrooms. I also took advantage of their 24/7 spa services and had a one hour in room massage, which was incredible, and my therapist was very good. The staff were able to book this for me even at 12 midnight and I had no problems paying via credit card directly at the concierge for the service and I would highly encourage guests to tip their therapists directly via cash or Gcash. I joined breakfast at 9 am in the morning and there was a long line but the staff had a good system of cleaning and seating the guests so I was seated in less than 10 minutes. I didn't find the food options very appealing and the coffee wasn't great but I do understand that this is a budget hotel. For those picky with food, i would recommend dining out instead. Checkout time is 12 noon which is great for people who like to sleep for longer. It was very easy for me to book a Grab from this hotel and the proximity to the terminal 3 airport and other hotels/malls was a great selling point.

I stayed there the night before flying back to Canada and this place is amazing. You get the Filipino culture being proudly represented. Staffs were greatly helpful and friendly. Except for the woman in the housekeeping. Who just looked at me and didn’t responded after greeting her a “good morning”. The room was better than the other hotels I stayed in Manila. I got the view of the airport. My only concern was the bathroom was not fully cleaned. The grout was moldy and you can tell that it hasn’t been cleaned for quite some time. I work for a hotel as well so, I know. Overall, it was a great stay.

I don’t even know where to begin. Besides the amazing luxury that this hotel provides! Their service backs it up 1,000,000% I had a near death experience (from my health related issues) the staff right away responded to my needs and got me escorted to the nearest hospital. The room as are always on point never no complaints from me. I love Savoy hotel, always recommend for anyone that is visiting Manila!! I can’t wait to come back.
