Sazi Hotel - Bui Thi Xuan

Room: The rooms are very nice (I had the chance to stay in two different room types) and they were clean. The smaller room (1 queen bed) is perfect for sleep as the AC works perfectly and can keep you cool. That room has no window which is a positive for me as I can sleep all morning easily when I am up late, but I can see how some might not like it. The bigger room (2 twin bed room and for me it was combined into 1 large bed) has a window and was much bigger than the smaller room, very spacious. Rooms also can have the AC be turned on without the keycard so you can keep the room cool for when you come back from a hot and humid day in the city. Two cases of water are provided in glass bottles that are refilled. Bathroom: Shower pressure is insanely powerful and with a rain shower. The bum gun worked with strong force. Toothbrushes, toothpastes, razor, earbuds, and shower caps are given everyday. Hairdryer is also available. 5 towels were given, a floor towel, 2 face, and 2 normal towels. Body soap, shampoo, and hand soap are in pump bottles. Facilities: Water is provided in the lobby for refill and you can refill in each floor by the elevator. There is one elevator and stairs next to it. They have a weight checker for luggage weighing and your own weight. The building is connected to a nail lounge/spa. They have WhatsApp, Zalo, Viber, Line, FB, and WeChat for communicating with the staff. This is how you ask for room cleaning. The lobby has a working piano, sofa, and chair/tables for chilling or eating. The staff here work hard and stay in the main lobby all day and night. At night the door is locked and the keycard is used to enter the building. Bathroom is provided in the lobby as well. Housekeeping was done well and fast (I watched them do it), they changed bed sheets+pillow cases, and gave me new towels and other items mentioned in the room section of the review. Location: This place is almost the center of the enter HCMC, it is close to D5, D3, D10, D7, D4. And for foodies, this is perfect! For those that want to go on the historical tour, just about 5-10 minutes ride to the clustered area. They provide a food+restaurant+address list for the some of the better locations to go. Across the road from a pharmacy. The whole area is very walkable and is also close to Bui Vien for those that want to party. A really good banh mi spot that stays open at midnight one block away as well! Staff: The staff is so so so friendly! They even gave me a discount of 30k VND per night when I walked in for my stay. We talked a lot every morning/night, they are quite good at English, no troubles with communication! They recommended me many places to go in HCMC for tourism, markets, and food! Definitely adds to the feel for the stay! Felt like a homestay. I had the pleasure of being able to converse and be with Cường and Duy.
