Last time I paid BHT 800 for a comfortable bed in a reasonable area, but now I have to pay BHT 1200 plus a THB 500 deposit. What a surprise to find a worse room that is not very clean! What is wrong with this accommodation? I do not recommend it. Look for hotels around here that offer better deals, cleanliness, and services. Note, if you book through agencies, prices are lower. I don't understand why. Suppose if you book directly, prices could be more reasonable.

Room is rather clean. Location is right inside Chinatown area, so you get many eateries around. MRT is about 8-10 mins walking distance. There are washer and dryer inside the hotel check in lobby, but you need to prepare your own 10baht coins to use it(40 for washer and 30 for dryer). Both machines did its job well. There is a living room for everyone to eat and microwave machine/hot water kettle to heat up food.

Conveniently located hostel. The staff were accomodating and the room was clean. There is a big common room with WiFi which could be used for meeting other guests or working. My only real criticism are that there is a lot of noise from outside, there isn't really much of an atmosphere due to it being a new hostel, and the reception is only open around check-in and checkout time. The place is owned by the restaurant downstairs specialising in shark fin dishes which may be a concern to some people.
