Stayed here for business for 4 nights for a business trip. Was able to upgrade to the top floor suite for great view of the city. Pros: -View of the top floor was amazing and suite has ample amount of space, as well as the balcony -Location! Location! Location! It is so close to everything (sightseeing-wise) -Very affordable prices for hotels -Great and consistent breakfast -Amazing customer service who offered us an upgrade and showed us the suite first. Cons: -I think the rooms are very outdated and need better maintenance. -There was mold on our sink faucet handle and was very visible. We didn't dare to drink from the tap once we saw that. -The downstairs outlets by the TV weren't working at all. We've asked for maintenance for a check but he/she never came.

I usually stay here for business. The rooms are now very dated and old/broken. Not enough lighting in the room. Rooms also need to be thoroughly cleaned. Reception and restaurant staff are nice and do the best they can. The location is great. The whole hotel needs an upgrade.

Nice location in the city. The rooms as small and have a damp scent both in the rooms and corridors. Service is good and breakfast is normal good Scandic hotel level.

Run down hotel in a magnificent location for visiting Copenhagen. We spent four nights in a superior room overlooking Ofelia's place from the first floor, so luckily we did not need to take the elevators to reach our room. Elevators have exactly the same floor surface area as the cobblestone covered shower cabins, so if you have cardiac problems ask for a room on the first floor to avoid having to be transported vertically after your cardiac arrest. Scandic obviously tries to save money on everything they can, from the lack of a bath mat, paper tissue, cleaning (that you have to ask for electronically one day before it should happen) to the quality of the breakfast that is clearly below what you expect from a four star hotel. Even using one of the hotel umbrellas is paying. To consult how to operate the safe you need to lie on your tummy on the dirty carpet. There is no shoe horn and not a single knob in the bath room to hang wet towels or small laundry. The two low Kjærholm easy-chairs are beautiful classics but really unpractical for older folks. So get your act together and let this hotel go through a thorough and functional renovation and we might return. Only recommended for its location and the views from the superior rooms.
