Brand new, very large Hotel. A bit expensive for its size. I had a wonderful view of the lift bridge. Breakfast was incredible, with gluten free choices. The breakfast staff were helpful. Evening dinner was good. My chicken breast was not on the menu, so they cobbled it together. The restaurant was not open 7-nights, so they sent me to the other Scandic by the Library. I actually liked that dinner a bit more, and it was a few euro less.

We chose this conference hotel for its location. The surroundings are undergoing reconstruction, but there's no noise. The breakfast is standard, typical for Scandic. The rooftop bar offers a beautiful view of the illuminated city. You can book breakfast using the application. You can also book a cleaning service. But I was surprised that they are doing room checks without letting you know. We came to the room and there was a card and all lights were turned on.

Huge new Scandic hotel just a short walk from the train station. There are heaps of rooms, ours was small, clean, adequate. Good breakfast variety. You're supposed to book a time slot because it gets busy due to number of rooms. Had to wait quite a while to check in, there was a queue when we arrived and the process seemed to take a while. Have to walk a minimum of 10 minutes for restaurants other than the one in the building or fast food. Overall decent place to stay.

It’s a new and clean hotel. Architecturally the service design is awful. Most of the rooms are 100s of meters away from the elevators. Make sure to book you room as near to the elevators as possible. Toilets of the lobby are accessible only by stairs up. It’s difficult to navigate in this hotel. I don’t know if it’s a Scandic Hotel thing, but make sure to enter the breakfast room at least 20 mins before the closing time. Otherwise, you’re not going to get what you want at the breakfast. They clean things up before the announced ending time and are very unhelpful in giving the customer a pleasant experience. Their concept is ”you’re late (even when early), your problem. Nutshell: goodlooking modern hotel in central town but service concept and logistics are awful.
