Rooms on lower floors are small, with very poor noise-reduction. Brilliant breakfast, great location and friendly staff. But there are other and better choices nearby, also within Scandic. I got a lower floor, paid DKK 1150 and didn't really sleep that night.

Unfortunately, like many others who have commented recently, I have only had a negative experience when it comes to room quality, which is far below the standard that the price implies and not least far below the standard that I am used to at Scandic hotels. The air conditioning is set to a standard temperature, so it doesn't help how much you try to adjust the controls. The only things that can be adjusted are the speed and the on/off switch. When we got to the room on the first day, the air conditioning was on full blast and it was already cold in the room. What a I did nothing help until I turned it off. It ended with my wife and I sleeping with our clothes on when we went to sleep the first night. There were also problems with the exhaust fan/ventilation from the bathroom, the bathroom was thoroughly damp as long as we were there, dew on the mirror and glass wall, and the towels were never dry. I would like to believe that we are not the only ones who experienced this problem. If they do not rectify this soon, we are talking about serious problem in terms of mold. Room: very poor condition from our experience. Breakfast: No variety but we were full. Something that the hotel should have as its advantage, super close to public transport. Copenhagen is a very nice city that I recommend you to visit, nice people, very much to see if you take the time to visit the attractions, but do not "visit" this hotel until they have renovated it.

Ok hotel. Doesn't feel like Scandic standard but ok. I could adjust the temperature in the room myself which is a huge plus as I'm always freezing. Only one extra pillow. No extra blanket, had to ask for more. No water kettle, teas etc. No mini bar. Good quality shampoo etc from "Face Stockholm". Ok breakfast. A little crowded. Awesome gluten free buns. Didn't say what everything was ok the buffet, though. Missing info and especially allergens. Had to ask for that specifically. Bathroom felt slight unclean with stuck dirt or mould on walls. Awesome location though. Great staff and service. That tall Swedish guy by the breakfast buffet is really helpful and kind and the reception staff was also lovely. Lovely vintage feeling. Stunning building. Ok hotel but didn't feel like Scandic standard. I might go there again.

Great location, but terrible rooms. This was probably a really beautiful hotel once upon a time with ceiling rosettes, but it is not well maintained. Both dirty and inconvenient room solution. Amazing location, staff was friendly, breakfast was decent, but the rooms really overshadowed all of the positives. Hopefully Scandic will see the value in this location, and do a proper refurbishment.

The hotel itself is fine. Breakfast is great, staff is nice and rooms are ok. However, I had terrible experiences with the management multiple times (I often come to Copenhagen for work). During a previous visit, the cleaning staff trashed all my receipts of the week on the last day (making reimbursements by my company impossible). As a response, management told me that they were going to fire the cleaning staff who did this which I found extremely inappropriate and made me feel uncomfortable. During a trip this week, I was forced to pay for my stay when I checked in even though my company provided payment information. The next day, after admitting this was a mistake, they reimbursed me but applied a completely different exchange rate (I initially paid in euros), losing 40 euros "in the battle." In both cases, management offered me a drink as a compensation which kind of sounded like a joke. The summary is: I will not come back, I lost enough money at this place.
