If anyone is traveling to Saigon, I would highly recommend Sherwood Residence. The location of the hotel is very convenient to walk or take a taxi anywhere, but the hotel also offers shuttles that would drop off/pick up at certain places. Not only convenient, but it is very quiet so you can relax when on vacation. The staff here is excellent, as customer service is exquisite and they go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. The hotel itself is very clean and spacious, provided with great amenities. Thank you Sherwood, for taking care of our family.

The staff were friendly and spoke English. The rooms were very spacious and had a full kitchen as well as washer and dryer. The only thing I didn't like was the hard beds. However, the staff was awesome and accommodating. When I mentioned the bed being too hard, they came right up and added a topper.

Always got greeted by most friendly and polite staffs. Room was spacious and super clean. Noise isolation is great, because I could not hear any thing from outside. The beds and pillows are comfortable. Full kitchen is very useful. Broken appliances got immediate attention and replaced if needed. House cleaning staff is trust worthy, I once forgot my money on the table, and they asked me to take my money before they started cleaning. House cleaning team did a great job and fast. AC in all the rooms worked well. Once the hallway got some paint chemical smell, I notified the front desk and it got resolved within 10 minutes. I was very impressed. Wifi and water were never an issue. The location is convenient. I could walk to every where. Love those coffee shops across the street. Needless to say, I extended my stay from 1 week to almost 4 weeks. Definitely will stay again in the future. * December Stay update: I came back and stayed here since I love the location. Some unpleasant experiences I want to mention. The front desk girl seemed over concerned when my guests came to visit. Once I had to told them not to stare because it made my friends uncomfortable. Once before time to check out, I asked them to bring some bottles of water for my guests but she refused and claimed company policy not allow her to since I will be checked out soon. Water pressure in the room are not strong making showering unpleasant. The bed are old, my wife can feel the coils. They tried to help by putting the topper but, it's not that great. I finally changed my hotel to Sedona Suites to get better sleep. Breakfast is not great. There was no varieties. The quality of the food is not 5 stars. I am not sure what happened. Also, why the front desk staffs keep asking me what time I will check out on the day before the last day of my stay? No other hotels does that. Getting really annoying.

Very nice serviced apartment and incredibly friendly staff. Great for families. The rooms were a great size and could easily accommodate my entire family. They are also well insulated and do not receive much noise from the street. The pool was very handy for the kids as well. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, but what really made it great was the staff. From before our arrival, where we had an issue with our credit card, they were very patient and took all steps necessary to rectify the problem (which lay on our side). During our stay, they were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend the staff in the hotel more. While it is not a huge gripe, the apartment’s kitchen is in a separate room (old style). It would’ve been absolutely perfect if the apartment had an open plan kitchen to the Living Room. Not sure if it’s a positive or a negative, but the hotel is a little bit outside of the absolute centre of town. This kept the noise and traffic down, but to get into the middle of town I would recommend taking (very cheap and relatively fast) taxis/grab cars.

Highly recommend staying here especially for groups travelling together. Was initially hesitant because the pictures of the interior of the apartments looked rather outdated, but rest assured real life feels way better than the pictures. Rooms are kept clean and very well maintained, had all the amenities we needed in a single space including washing machine & dryer; just need to get your own detergent. The Samsung TVs allowed screen casting from samsung phones. Housekeeping done everyday with bottled water replenished. Aircon is also strong. Rather soundproof from the loud traffic noise (we stayed at 12th floor). Location is also convenient (there is a Coop supermarket and a 24/7 nearby convenient store via the backgate). Overall very satisfied with the stay.
