Despite the shabby exterior, our thrd-floor room was updated and comfortable. (There is an elevator, slow but very welcome!) In addition to dresser(s) and mini-fridge, we had an eat-at table. There were even hangers, which is definitely not a given at budget hotels these days. Charging plug-ins on the lamps. Staff was pleasant and helpful. HOWEVER, not everyone may be comfortable with the immediate neighborhood, which is a center for unhoused individuals. That can be intimidating, but we had no issues -- were not even asked for money. On the plus side, the hotel is directly on several bus lines and just a couple blocks away from a light rail station to catch a train to the airport. Coffee shops, restaurants and an expansive grocery store within easy walking distance. A short bus ride to SF Museum of Modern Art and several other museums/galleries as well as many more restaurants. I would stay there again.

First off it's supposed to be a non-smoking motel. And our room smelled soo bad of cigarettes! We were only there one night and the next day at home, our clothes in our suitcase smelled bad of cigarettes. We don't smoke.

Lovely staff and pretty good overall location in terms of being relatively close to tourist spots and there is a convenience store across the road (where we got most of our food). Rooms were alright as well for the price, however the shower drain stopped draining continuously for no reason, leaving us to shower in dirty water for 2 days. Furthermore, the staff never came in to clean our room, leaving us to dispose of tones of rubbish ourselves. The surrounding area is also extremely unsafe. We only felt kind of safe when in our room since we were on the second floor. Lots of drug use, bad smells and yelling. Would only recommend this place if you want a convenient location and aren’t looking for anything too luxurious or in a good location.

Booked with partnership medical transportation. I asked for an ADA friendly room. My child is in a wheelchair. This hotel is not ADA friendly, and no rooms are accessible or on the ground floor. Additionally, an adult sized wheelchair would find it impossible to access the elevator. The elevator is blocked by a heavy door that is also not accessible. The width of the door would be too narrow for a full sized wheelchair. Also, I am afraid my car will be broken into. That being said, the staff was kind and the rooms are clean. If you are an able bodied traveler looking for an inexpensive clean room, this one will probably work well for you.
