👍🏼Comfortable bed & pillow. Very pretty terrace. Great location. Good price. 👎🏼Dirty showers, no cleaning every day. I had verbal harassment incident while staying in the mixed room with an older man. Staff didn't seem to take it so seriously until we brought the talk about the police. The receptionist also said something that I should've come earlier to tell them while it only just happened and I should never be too nice to ppl while I had been avoiding conversation with the harasser the whole time. A bit blame the victim type of outcome? Otherwise the staff was doing their job great and smiling, being kind all the time. Also in the end we got the situation figured and the receptionist helped us to get a new room in another hostel. Super kind! I only want to address that harassment can never be taken too seriously. And especially hostels should always have a plan to follow if incidents like this happen. Ladies, never stay in a mixed room for your own safety. Albufeira and other touristic destinations have a lot of bad behaving man and this was one thing I noticed even in the night life.

There were cockroaches everywhere in the rooms. Im very sad because it was the perfect location and seemed very clean. Under all the beds and in some of our things we found cockroaches. The receptionist was very nice about it, helped us find a new place to stay and gave us a full refund. Beware and verify under the beds before sleeping or putting your things in the drawers.

I stayed in the 10 people dorm. The location is great, but the room isn't. There were ants in my bed and I was bit by ants throughout my sleep. Then, the bathroom doors are translucent. So, people can see your silhouette when you're showering.

I checked in October 16, 2022 and upon noticing many long hairs on my bed I decided to inspect in further. I immediately found a bed bug. The bug crawled into the mattress quickly before I could show anyone, but there were many of the trade-mark spots left in the crevices of the mattress indicating the presence of bed bugs. I decided to leave immediately and they were kind and didn’t have an issue with me leaving. They said they would issue a refund but it has been many many months and I have not received a refund. Attached is a photo of the hairs on my bedspread before I found the bug.
