Overpriced - avoid. We had often heard about hotels with friendly staff - the receptionist here was the polar opposite. He clearly didn't like that we'd made a late booking, upsetting his neatly prepared paperwork. We were shocked to be given an agreement to read, requiring a 200 euro deposit to cover possible damages during our nights stay. There are stern warnings posted in the room regarding a €50 fine for possible towel soiling and if you want to use the room safe it will cost 1.50 euros a day. Whilst each room has a balcony and are called apartments, they are nothing more than very small bedrooms with a very small balcony. Be aware that if you are not lucky enough to have a room facing the sea, you will be facing an ugly derelict building and a busy road. The glazing does not insulate against road noise. The breakfast buffet was farcical with minimal choice. Before being allowed to leave the hotel, our room had to be checked. Trust is obviously an issue here. Overall this hotel is trading on its location but is a far cry in terms of customer focus. Avoid.

We loved this hotel! Small and quaint with a beautiful pool and view of the beach. Breakfast was delicious, I wish we could have stayed a full week! Close to the main area for food and treats. Definitely recommend!

We were very lucky to book 1 night at this hotel. You can really see that they wanna keep the hotel beautiful and running well. Spotless clean, big room with balcony and seaview, lovely pool area, AMAZING view over the beach and Albufeira old town, and you can hear the waves at night. Good choice and fresh breakfast. Love it and will come back! We paid 190 euros and it was great value for the money.
