The place was easy to find, in a fantastic location! The instructions made it easy to check-in. Upon entering we found everything we needed and the place was very clean and cozy. Even being in such a busy area, it was very quiet in the apartment at night. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying here again next time we are in Savannah!

Absolute worst customer service - they are a large corporation that does not care about you as a guest. First, at check in time the cleaning crew was still inside and never finished cleaning. Next, they are fully aware that their Ellis square location is not in a secure building (lobby lock is broken) but they have not disclosed that to their guests. Check in instructions claim there’s a code to get in! We had multiple incidents with a threatening homeless man and had to call local police twice. Sonder refused responsibility. The price of the stay is not worth the horrible experience.

We just returned from our stay at Sonder Ellis Square in Savannah, Georgia. It definitely fit our needs: two bedroom, two bath, full kitchen with dishwasher and clothes washer and dryer. It included a spacious dining space and living room area. There is a TV in the living room and one bedroom. It is important to know that this property on Broughton Street does come with a point to be considered: one bedroom has windows that overlook an alley, and the deliveries at 3:30 in the morning can be a little noisy. The other bedroom, although it does not have windows, it does seem to back up to a common hallway: noise from guests coming home late at night or in the early morning hours can be heard. Sonder does have noise machines in both bedrooms to help neutralize the noise issue. We did experience some heavy rain one afternoon, and when we returned to our rental, water had seeped in one bedroom window and one window in the living area. My only recommendations for Sonder would be to put Damp Rid packets in the closets to absorb moisture. My clothes that were hanging in the closet, were a bit musty smelling. They do have an air freshener which seems to be activated by the front door opening and closing and emitted a lovely fragrance. We definitely recommend this property without reservation, and if we have the opportunity to return to Savannah, this would be our rental of choice: it is close to the many restaurants and boutiques on Broughton, a short walking distance to any of the lovely squares and Forsyth Park and only a short walk to the river, which abounds with so much to do and explore.

The place is beautiful & spacious. However, the walls are thin between units. The people in the next unit can clearly be heard talking when I’m lying in the room trying to sleep. I believe their living room wall connects to this bedroom. It is much louder than at a hotel. Night before last I was watching something and could hear their TV. This unit also is adjacent to a restaurant with a large outdoor eating area. It can be very loud if they are showing something on their outdoor big screen. They do provide ear plugs and sound machines to help block noise.
