A great no-frills hotel in an amazing location for a good price. Great if you're just looking for somewhere to shower, sleep and store your things while you're out all day. They offered breakfast vouchers for a nice cafe a 5 minute walk away and stocked the fridge with water and drinks everyday.

The location is excellent - you're close to the Vatican Museum and St Angelo's Palace. The rooms are small though and lack the typical comforts and amenities. The service was absolutely excellent as well!

Location Location Location! Just a few steps, and you're in Vatican City. This is a beautiful hotel with a staff that is friendly and courteous. The foldout bed could use a new mattress, but aside from that, everything was excellent! I can't wait to return with my brother and his family next year.

We chose this place for a short stay at the end of an Italian vacation because of its location neat St. Peter’s on via della conciliazione. (We had stayed in the area before in a hotel that has since closed.) It is wonderful to be so close to the basilica and in easy walking distance to the shopping and dining near Piazza Navona. This place greatly exceeded our expectations! It’s tiny - 6 rooms on-site within a larger building - but when you enter the front door you feel transported from the busy Roman street scene to a tranquil courtyard. The B&B is one flight up (with a tiny elevator). Our room was huge by European standards and large even by American standards; likewise the bathroom. Decor was a balance of old and new and everything was clean and well-maintained. It was a blessing to have space to reorganize our baggage before heading home from our extended trip; our other hotels lacked the space to do that. Our breakfast was not on-site but at a nearby coffee place - one we knew from past trips that we loved and planned to visit anyway. They took good care of us there so we were very happy with the arrangement. Service was friendly and helpful. The only note we have is that our room (103) was right next to the welcome desk and breakfast area - if you’re a light sleeper or plan to nap during the day, it’s worth asking about a room that’s on the end of the small hall.

So.. We stayed for 6 days in this hotel. And we are happy choosing it. It's true that it is very, very close to St. Peter basilica, there are also bus stops, a bank, a bookstore near by. And, of course, restaurants. If you are a fan of Leonrado da Vinci' s work, you will be lucky, because there is a museum about his paintings and inventions on the same street. The owner (maybe?) of the place, Fausto, is a kind, hospitable man. We arrived earlier than 14 p.m, but our room was ready. He even let us stay and use the room a bit longer after check out because our flight was late (21 p.m). He will chat with you during the breakfast, advise you about the landmarks and good restaurants, help you, if you want transfer to the airport (maybe 60 € was the price). The drinks in minibar was on him. The room was clean, comfy enough, there was everything you need (like an iron or a water heater jug). The breakfast was the same everyday ,maybe, from local bakery - croissants and other pastries, sandwiches, milk and cereal, but was ymmy and enough to start your day. Тhe only minus, i can recall, was with the reservaton. On the site we book the hotel its said that we will NOT BE CHARGED before we check in. Although we were. Maybe it's just a common practise, just to be sure that you'll be able to affort the stay. I agree, but, they withdrawal all the money (1000 €), not 100-200 euro, for example, just to check our card without warning. They return it, in their words, on the same day, but because there were bank tranfers between different countries, the money was delayed with 3-4 days in a moment when we need them. So have this in mind.
