Pleasant studio apartment style room with smart TV, free WiFi and an excellent suite of kitchenette tools and appliances. Quiet and warm, a nice place to recover from activities or as a stop-gap to the city center which isn't a far walk. The only down-side was that our room was side view and we're directly opposite building works/crane. Otherwise was great!

A great place to stay if you’re looking for independence. Your room comes with a kitchenette which allows you to make your own food (and save money). From that I’ve seen there’s no bar/food/lounge which is fine for me. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Walking into Reykjavík isn’t far (about 15 minutes) An ideal spot for those who don’t want to be situated in the middle of the city.

You are on your own. It is an apartment. Do not expect hotel amenities, such phone for local calls, or reception desk. Otherwise, a good place to stay for iceland visit.

A really lovely spot! Stayed for 10 days during autumn. Room was always warm due to the radiator which one cannot control however, there were windows we opened to modulate temp and that worked really well. Shower was quite warm regardless of time of day. Washers and dryers are the European style which seem more adept at dehumidifying laundry instead of dry it but we brought our clothes back to the room to hang them and they were dry in a matter of hours. The use of them is free and there is detergent. I had read that toiletries were included but it does not appear they are. However they did provide dish and hand soap which one can refill in the laundry room as well as get more towels. Beds were very cozy, soft, and warm. Room was quite clean with stove, fridge(no freezer), microwave, basic cooking pans, basic cooking utensils, silverware, and pretty nice dishes. I was anticipating plastic but they are glass and ceramic. Unlike some reviewers, we had no trouble with shower flooding or anything like that. There was a dish towel and bathroom rug. Really didn't hear neighbors except when we were in the hall. Very quite place so very easy to get good rest. Distance to downtown is close to 1 kilometer but is right on a main bus route. I like to walk so this was optimal for me and I took the bus on inclement days. Check in and check out are contactless and we didn't have any need to reach out to the proprietor. 10/10 would stay again.

Stay awake and stay away Loud, noisy, dirty: that‘s the short version Our first room was so dirty and was awefully smelling of cigarettes. We had to change it, which was no problem. The second room was dirty too, so we called again and the next day a lady came to clean up. On the second morning (we stayed a whole week) construction works right on our windows (not infront of it) began. They renovated the facade. It turned out they worked all week from 7:00 to the late afternoon. Elevator was not working after the third day, which was a hazzle to bring the luggage down from 5th floor. Never again!
