The sofa was extremely dirty. There was not a small fridge in the room and we didn't have cold water which is unacceptable in such high temperatures (mid August). The shower is so small that if you are taller than 1.70 it's a struggle to wash yourself and there was nowhere to hang the towels in the shower. In all it was like the owner didn't make an effort to make you feel comfortable and just threw a bed and an air-conditioner in one big room.

The room stinks terribly because there is a kebab shop/butcher which operates 24/7!! Beside the accomodation. If you make the mistake of opening your small window once here for a breath of fresh air or to air out the toilet ( because there is no fan/ventilation) you will suffer the consequences of sewerage like kebab smell in your place the whole time. The hallway also stinks because of the same reason. There is no proper light in the bathroom, the shower is tiny I could go on but be very wary of booking here. The owner hides from you until the end because they are embarrassed of the property they have listed. They only show up to ask for cash last minute for tax. I am sure there are Avoid.

What a fraud this place is. If you wish to stage a divorce or a breakup, this room will be the ideal place for you and your soon-to-be ex-partner. The host that put up this room in Agoda claiming the room is with window. However there is no view just a small patio that the area is smaller than a proper window. Not to mention that people live in the room is not able nor allow to open the window. Poor ventilation and not sunlight in the room is making us feeling suffocated and sick in the room. It feels like a prison. We are the silly ones that pays to leave in here…

My husband and I stayed at Stella della casa for two nights, its perfect location super close to the Santa Maria Novella station allowed us to reach the room only few minutes walking, we could go to many of the best places in Florence and enjoy that beautiful city just walking, owner very kind, room clean and affordable prices. I highly recommend this place... 😊

An inexpensive place near the train station, which is great. A bit of a hike from the sights and good restaurants. We thought we were getting a cheap little room, but it was a whole suite. Maybe it was inexpensive because they were remodeling, and it was hard to carry everything up the narrow stairwell. And its a bit noisy at night. But the guy working there was very accommodating and helpful. Make sure you have his number if you need to check in late.
