Incredible building and scale. The theme runs throughout and everything here is in place for you to be comfortable and gamble your world away as you forget what day and night feels like. ATMs, restaurants, shops, facilities throughout.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this travel experience. Regarding my special request, the Studio City Hotel, although there is no room decoration, also provides fruit bowls and birthday cakes. I am very satisfied with this thoughtfulness and arrangement!

Room is a bit small though everything is new. The bathroom looks like a bathtub or shower? The view was superb. Location is close to bus stop and light rail station. Food court and restaurants down the hotel. Quality was average but not expensive. Check-in lines were quite longer than expected. We waited for 45 mins when we arrived at hotel at 4 on a weekday. Check out is convenient though. Prepare enough time to get to the shuttle bus upon departure.

Checking in was unacceptable. It's the first impression when a guest steps into your property and the snaking crowd in front of your reception is really "wowing" me away. The Caucasian lady at the check in counter did not offer a single word of apology when I mentioned that I have queued for 1.5hr. This is a severe lack of empathy and professionalism! I heard from the staff that such afternoon/evening check-in queues were common sights. These few sentences summarized my first impression of W Hotel Macau. My wife has picked this as it was newly opened, to celebrate our anniversary. The rooms are clean, neat and spacious. We are grateful and appreciate the complimentary red wine from the hotel and special mention to a lady by the name of Charlie who has always been warmth and helpful over the phone whenever we made enquries. It's always a joy speaking to her. The staff here always look professional and cool, never warmth nor approachable/welcoming, with the exception of Fidel whom we had some small talks while he helped to get a taxi for us. Location is good as there were quite a variety of eateries nearby. Most importantly, kids like the indoor water park. Generally W Hotel always portrays a hip and cool impression. It is entirely different from Hotel Okura Macau which we previous checked out from. The premise looks modern and as as brightly lit and the cool staff complements the theme well.

Overall I think the hotel is nicely decorated, great room amenities and convenient. However like many other comments and reviews posted, given it is a new hotel, check-ins are painfully slow. The check-in lines were super long even though we went on a weekday and the lines were long all the time. Some staff was not as experienced but thankfully they have a very good manager on site. The breakfast was very nice. We stayed in Macau many times and this is one of the nicest breakfast buffets available. Overall I think it’s a good hotel to stay at but perhaps given it a few months so the staff is better.
