It was okay. Staff didn't have the best customer service, in some situations very petty. Don't believe they have vegetarian options at breakfast buffet. Fried rice daily was the only hot option offered while non vegetarians had 7 options daily, apart from fruits, a very basic cereal and a very basic salad option. They don't support basics like razors, etc as well. That being said, quite clean and well maintained. Unfortunately we paid a lot more as we booked in a short notice. If you get a budget price and don't mind walking the extra distance to the beach, its ok. Better options near the beach.

Stayed for 4 nights. Perfect location for trips to Raleigh and the islands. Large room. Our room was cliff facing which was impressive, it did also over look the road but it wasn't loud so no problem sleeping. Breakfast was also great. Would definitely stay here again.

Very good hotel in a very good location. Rooms are nice and spacious and the pool is very good. The hotel shows few signs or wear and tear, specially in the pool area, and the breakfast service is bit chaotic at times - hence the 4 stars. But would still recommend it. We had booked a room with pool access and itwas good value for money

I stayed at Sugar Marina for about 1 week and it was okay. There is nothing really to complain about but do not expect a wow. I just needed a good bed, proper room and a clean environment and that is what I got. The hotel is a bit “soulless” and in general misses all the aspects that elevates a guest experience from good to great. It misses that little extra that makes you want to come back. I just feel there is so much more potential for this accommodation in terms of guest experience and in turn for the hotel profit itself.

Location is really convenient - near the main street and aonang beach, with lots of cafes and convenience stores and massage parlours down the street. the room with cliff view was great. The balcony area was great for chilling out, and getting some sunlight in the morning. Very thoughtful of the hotel to provide umbrellas and the picnic mat for those wanting to hit the beaches! Highly recommended. Value for money accomm. There's a pool too but didn't visit it during my stay there.
