Hospitality wise, it was great except for only one man, sitting at the front desk. No smiles, no kind words. Definitely not the hospitality I would expect if I am spending the north of $600 dollars per night. Except for him, everybody was super nice. Hardware wise, one of the best Ryokans I’ve tried in my life (stayed at the 1st floor, which has private outside onsen inside the room). Food, great. Pitch perfect. Bar is definately the best part of this stay, with Narita san serving us with great gin and tonic. 80만원돈 내는 료칸에서 불친절한 직원하나가 행복했던 시간을 다 망치네요.

The old bartender guy is not very friendly. Its one hour limited happy hour and we had only 3 drinks each and talked quietly. But he wasnt very friendly. I felt the vibe that he doesnt like forigners.

Calm, private and cozy place with calm and natural interior design. All staffs are super kind and willing to take my requests. The water is warm and clean, dishes are excellent. Definately want to stay again.
