Sun Hall Hotel

This is a 3 star, not 4, hotel. The staff were lovely and the location is great, but the rooms were terrible. This hotel is for those who don't care about the room at all, because they plan to party all night, and come back too drunk to care. * The room and hotel were advertised as soundproof, which they absolutely are not. You can hear the noise from neighbouring rooms, the corridors and the strip outside - so much noise pollution! Not a place to work or rest. * The room was advertised with AC, but the truth is you can't control the temperature in the room because the temperature is controlled centrally by the hotel - there is one setting for all the rooms. It was 27C outside so the room was hot, and there was no way to cool it down because the was heating blasting when I turned on the "AC". I have never heard of a hotel that doesn't allow individual temperature control. * The curtains were not hung properly or blackout, so the sun lit up the room everyday from 5am. This was in November, I can't imagine what it would be like in the summer when the sun is brighter and rises earlier. * There were other issues like sockets not working, broken lightbulbs and holes in ironing board covers - overall as another user stated, the hotel is dated and needs maintenance. Of the hundreds of hotels I've been to across the world, this was by far the worst. Edit: To Euripides Erodotou, General Manager, clearly you all don't communicate very well because management were informed of the issues I experienced DURING my stay: 1) My room was changed on on day 2 due to noise levels, and it was still noisy 2) Management came to my room, and after a failed attempted to fix the curtains, explained that you had new curtains coming in. 3) According to the settings and the engineer that came to service it, your rooms do NOT have individual temperature control. As I said, the staff were lovely and helpful, but they can't fix structural issues, only service issues. Just stop false advertising, so potential guests know what they are truly getting. P.S. Is it customary for your company to put your guests' personal details (last name and duration of stay) online without consent? That's a breach of EU Data Protection Laws, by the General Manager no less! I guess there are service issues after all.
