I stayed here in the polar bear suite during our stay in Longyearbyen and had an amazing stay. The room was clean, quiet, safe and had great views. The room also had candles set up everywhere with a lighter to make the room have a great romantic vibe. The staff, especially Tobias, was extremely helpful chatting with us and helping us out with whatever we needed while we were there. The location is great as well as you are only a block away from all shopping and grocery store. Highly recommend consider staying here during your time in Svalbard.

It's a lovely place, so cozy with a fireplace, and the staff are just incredibly nice and helpful. Great food. Whenever you have a question or issue, the staff will accommodate, arrange tours, and give local advice you can't find online. It's also very calm with a hygge atmosphere :) 💯

This was such a wonderful stay and experience. We were pleasantly surprised by how quickly the check in process was. The gal with blonde dreadlocks was fantastic checking in so many guests at once. She also gave us some wonderful info about the local pack of reindeer living behind the hotel. The breakfast was top notch, as a seasoned traveler, it was one of the best. Some elevator music during breakfast would've been a nice touch though. The staff put on a wonderful presentation of the buffet and did a fabulous job of refreshing items. We super loved the souvenirs as they were far better then the local shops or coop offerings. The lobby was so warm and cozy to enjoy, they providef hot beverages while waiting for a tour or bus transfer to the airport. The only downside was that a refrigerator would've been a nice addition due the remote location and limited food restaurants in town. The pillows were the best EVER; so big snd super comfortable.
