The whole floor you can smell smoke in the corridor. The receptionist not really good at Japanese. And can't do much with changing room.

*tiny* hotel. The rooms are kinda dated but it’s in a great location, super cheap, and your own bathroom. As long as you’re not staying in the room for an extended period of time, it’s a good deal.

A cheap business hotel. Decent place to store your things, sleep, shower and rest. Free WiFi and if the timing is right, you can book a ride on a direct bus (to and from NRT and HND airport) from the metropolitan hotel across the street. Less than 10 min walk to Ikebukuro station. Although I didn't get it, the bfast is not really worth it as they apparently gives you vouchers to the family restaurant a few min walk away. Better off going to the bakery or the 711.
