This hotel has a charming layout with a lobby and entrance that promises a great deal. After that initial impression, it all begins to fall apart. The rooms are badly in need of renovation and housekeeping poor. In spite of the wonderful TV channel promoting Sukasol quality and hospitality, it lacks substance entirely. Breakfast was so so and the bar poorly stocked. The lifts to the guest rooms took me back to the 60s. Great potential if renovated and quality beefed up

The hotel itself is very nice, very well decorated, and pool area and restaurant next to the pool were beautiful. The staff was friendly and the location is great, short walk to the beach through the pool area and the nightlife is a short walk from the front. Okay, the room we stayed in was okay, the bed was large and comfortable, the view was amazing, and housekeeping did a great job. The furniture in the room was very old, lots of scratches and the cushions had stains on them, the shower/bathtub was small and had a leak that got the bathroom floor wet, and the walls…. very thin, could hear everything happening in the hallway. Overall it was a good experience and could see myself booking here again, rooms just need a little work.

First with the positives: 1. Great location, Beach is 200 meters away from the hotel and so is Market on the other side. Good Indian restaurants also at walkable distance. One extra star from my side for its location. 2. Sea view from the room is good (2nd floor), it must be amazing from higher floors. 3. Lot of kids friendly places and pool inside the property. 4. Rooms are reasonably good. Now the negatives 1. Staff at reception is rude and not at all Welcoming. 2. They did not give us extra bed for a room with 2 adults and 2 kids (of age 3 and 9 respectively). I booked through Club Mahindra where Studio rooms have 3rd bed free of charge but they asked 1000 Bhat per night. They told they can give extra bed free of charge if there are 3 pax > 12 years age in a room or can provided a baby cot for infant

My stay at this 3-star hotel was not bad overall. While it had some limitations, it offered a decent experience. The absence of elevators in the standard rooms made late-night returns or access for elderly guests less convenient. Additionally, the rooms were on the smaller side. However, the redeeming factor was the delightful city and sea views from certain rooms. The hotel's ambiance was pleasant, and the overall experience was fair. If you don't mind a few inconveniences, this 3-star hotel could still provide a comfortable stay with its charming vistas.
