We had the pleasure of staying at The Bellwood Manor and we can’t express how impressed we was with both the hotel itself and its incredibly patient and attentive staff. From the moment we walked into the lobby, we was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The check-in process was seamless, and the front desk staff went out of their way to ensure all our needs were met. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. It was clear that the housekeeping team takes great pride in their work. What truly stood out during our stay was the patience and kindness of the hotel staff. We had a few special requests, and they were always met with a smile and a willingness to assist. Whether it was room service, directions to local attractions, or just a friendly chat, the staff made me feel like a valued guest. The dining experience at the hotel’s restaurant was also exceptional. The waitstaff were not only knowledgeable about the menu but also patient in answering our questions and accommodating our dietary preferences. We recently stayed at this hotel and the overall experience was super amazing. From the moment we stepped in to the hotel we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. Should specially highlight the fact that the staff was well trained and very professional. The food was really great specially the 6 courses dinner was exquisite. Rooms are nothing short of luxurious. They were very clean and well maintained. The whole place actually resemble the qualities of a manor. The surrounding was picturesque with hills all around the manor and their garden was absolutely delight to walk into. Overall it was a very good experience and highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good time in Nuwaraeliya.

The colonial era Manor was tastefully and luxuriously refurbished while retaining the old glory. The place is really upmarket accommodation which I would consider the best in the central part of the island. The best thing about this place is the nostalgic feel of true exceptional Sri Lankan hospitality. The welcome reception was exceptional. The staff waited for our arrival with flower bouquet for my wife and a garland for me. Every single person you come across would take an extra effort to greet you with a sincere smiling face. You cannot escape it. No matter who the person is... they do it. The next best thing is the dedicated host you get during your stay. The host was available to us at anytime and was able to attend to every request. He was there to greet us during meals as well. The room was gorgeous. Very big and designed luxurious. Lots to talk about here but in short was great value for money. Food was mind blowing. The chef Tilina and his team made us very tasty innovative meals at every time. The 6 course dinner was mind blowing and out of this world. I drove an electric car which required charging. Though a dedicated charging point wasn't available, all staff got together and made it happen. The two girls at the reception who gave us a guided tour of the place was excellent and very helpful. We felt exceptionally homely at Bellwood Manor. As we left the place all staff would come out to wave us good bye until we were out of sight. We would return with my other my other family members to stay a longer period.
