My stay at The Birdcage Boutique in Phnom Penh was absolutely delightful. From the moment I stepped onto the property, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality from the staff. What truly stood out was how each staff member made a genuine effort to get to know me on a personal level. This created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made my stay truly memorable. The ambiance of the hotel was charming and unique, with tastefully decorated rooms that provided a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. Overall, I cannot recommend The Birdcage Boutique highly enough.

This is a hidden gem with lovely staff, clean rooms, larger rooms, great Thai food, English breakfasts and a bar that has a passion for gin! Our kinda place! We had a room with a bath: water was hot and plentiful, good pressure too! The pool was an added bonus! Nice and cool and clean. Great location. Close to the river front, Royal palace, museums, parklands etc. We had an amazing time with the Water Festival. It was epic! The town was buzzing! We also loved the security for our bikes! Security guard here and they were locked away at night! Loved every bit of this place. An amazing couple run it too. English is superb and great hosts, as were all their staff. Bonus, kitchen ran for long hours!!!! And was authentic! Couldn’t recommend higher. Great value! Also quiet place too! Close to everything but noise was minimal. Slept like kings in our super comfortable king size bed and super comfy pillows and linen. Room made up every day too! Bonus! Thanks for a great stay!

Good value, really nice room, pool, and breakfast. Staff were great, only downside is beers were $1.5 (& I think I got charged twice for my one so check your bill)

This experience at Birdcage was horrible. I’ve been a guest her multiple times, they know me by name. I treat them beautifully. Birdcage has been a key component of my ongoing Phnom Penh experience. This time however, the staff apparently…felt it was appropriate to walk away from me mid-sentence multiple times, and then completely ignore a critical room problem because “she’s with her friends” and “I’m not working.” So who’s working, “I am.” Wha? Very strange behavior. I’ll never return. Ever. Makes me sad, I lost a friend.
