Overall this hotel was very cute and family oriented however a few things just made it average and not great enough to come back. Upon check in the receptionist was very short, not very welcoming. The staff did not inform of us of anything going on at the hotel or the extra charges- s’mores, breakfast hours, pool hours and amenities. The room shampoo and soap dispensers did not work and the shower water was always luke warm. The rooms were very basic with no microwave. Probably wouldn’t come back for the price

Loved this hotel. Very cozy. Friendly & helpful staff. Free smores by the fire every evening. Incredibly comfy beds, huge smart TVs with all functions unlocked. Good showers. Every room has heated toilet seats too but ours didn't work. My only complaint is that the room didn't have a safe, and the bin collection from our room (810) was very loud at 7am. Be aware that the hotel charges a resort fee of $30 a night (plus tax). We were aware beforehand but still annoying to have extra charges.

Worst bang for the buck in my life. The location is good. It was the worst bang/$ I've ever had. We paid 2k for 3 nights for a "king suite". First thing we struggled with was parking, there was no free spots when we arrived, and I had to park across the road. When we walked in the room, I thought it was a joke. For the price of a 4-star hotel you get a run down hostel, or motel, with dated rooms, plywood beds (and a terrible squeaky "sofa bed" in our case), poor sound isolation (the noise of people walking upstairs all the time), and limited amenities. At least we had a fridge and a microwave.

Staff were pleasant however this was a disappointing stay for the price. The room was on the second level and although neat and clean there were a number of issues especially considering the price point. The room was on the second floor with someone staying above. The thin timber floors were the noisiest we have experienced. The room had no phone and was situated across the road from reception in snowy conditions. The bathroom amenities were very basic. Neat and tidy hotel but when paying for a suite it was overpriced for the area.

Hotel has a great location and walking distance to the delightful town centre with a great choice of activities, shops and restaurants. The self service kitchen in the main building is very handy with microwave and toaster as well as crockery. Rooms were spacious and ideal for our 2 night stay. Lots of street noise through the night and our room was next to the bin collection which woke us up very early! Beds not that comfortable, very soft mattress and pillows. Rooms also unequipped with a safety deposit box. The bar menu is good with amazing toasties. Smores are a nice touch by the fire.
