We spent two nights here recently and had a lovely stay. Jason was very welcoming and generously gave my mother and I an upgrade. Lovely clean and warm room with very comfortable beds, clean and handsome looking bathroom ensuite. The breakfast was so delicious, with bacon and egg cooked just the way I personally like them and very tasty coffee to start our days of exploring York. When I return I intend to stay here again.

Second visit here and it’s perfect for a few days break. On street parking, comfy room (lovely and warm!) and great breakfast. Location is perfect and it’s a couple of minutes walk right into city centre. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Stayed here for the third year a row. Service is very good. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is great and the location is perfect for getting into the city centre. The owner, Jason, and all the staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Visited on the 29th September 2023 just for the weekend..we were met by Jason the owner he is a decent chap and sorted out a parking permit on arrival, and gave us a choice of breakfast times. The room was spotless and so was the bathroom..it was a great little guest house and i would certainly stay again..theres pubs and shops aplenty before you get to the minster and its a pleasant walk into the city centre..
