We stayed here in December 2023; Perfectly situated right in the heart of Tirana this boutique hotel surpassed our expectations. Our room was completely spotless and everything was amazing, apart from the damaged dressing gowns which were easily rectified by the team. Breakfast was delicious and more than we could manage, however much we tried to sample everything during our stay. The spa facilities were the only thing that let the hotel down with a faulty jacuzzi, sauna that didn’t get warm and the ambient shower wasn’t working properly either. The reception, housekeeping and restaurant staff were all so pleasant, kind and helpful I strongly recommend everyone take the opportunity to experience the unique experience The Crown has to offer.

I had brunch at The Crown and really enjoyed what they had to offer. The menu had a lot of options, making it a perfect choice for anyone. They also served brunch until 5pm on weekends, which is quite rare to find in Tirana. Will definitely come here again.

I had the pleasure of dining at The Crown for a special family occasion, and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for the entire evening. The ambiance of The Crown is simply enchanting. The dim lighting and tasteful decor created an atmosphere that was both cozy and sophisticated. It's evident that the restaurant pays attention to even the smallest details, as every corner exudes a sense of elegance. Now, let's talk about the food. The menu boasted a delightful array of choices, catering to a variety of tastes. From appetizers to desserts, each dish was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The chef's skill truly shone through, as each bite was a delightful journey for the taste buds. What truly set The Crown apart, though, was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that our glasses were never empty and that every need was met. It's rare to find a restaurant where the staff is so genuinely dedicated to making your experience memorable. In all, The Crown is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. It's a place where you can create cherished memories with loved ones while indulging in exquisite cuisine. If you're looking for a dining destination that combines top-notch food, a charming ambiance, and outstanding service, The Crown is an absolute must-visit.

Unfortunately our trip to Tirana was completely ruined by Crown Boutique Hotel and Spa. We decided to eat at the hotel restaurant, on the roof terrace, on the night we arrived. The service and setting were lovely but, after going to bed, my partner and I were up for most of the night with food poisoning. Given that we had been on the road for the whole of the day before, eating only snacks, we were certain it was caused by our evening meal. Unable to leave our room for the whole of the next day, we contacted reception to let them know of the situation and ask if they would be able to bring us some some supplies (ideally sports drink and plain crackers). Unfortunately, the hotel staff were incredibly reluctant to provide any help to us whatsoever, being more concerned with avoiding the blame for the food poisoning than helping their guests. After initially questioning us on the phone about how we could be sure it was their restaurant that caused this, the manager (Bruno) then came to our room with similar questions, rather than any form of sympathy. We were not even asking for an admission of guilt, just for a bit of help for two guests who were very unwell and staying in their hotel. Bruno eventually said that he would run out to the shop himself to get some sports drink and crackers and returned 15 minutes later with a bottle of tap water from the spa downstairs, two sachets of trisol (assuming from a first aid kit) and a plate of biscuits (presumably from the restaurant). We heard nothing else from the staff until we checked out the following morning, where we expressed our disappointment. At this point the receptionist was sincerely apologetic (a first for this whole ordeal) which was most of what we were hoping for to be honest. All in all, while we were only disappointed about the food poisoning from the restaurant, the reaction from Hotel Management really angered us and completely ruined our short stay in Tirana. It was no way to treat guests in that state regardless of the cause, let alone when it’s your own restaurant.
