Picked this place to have a luxury stay near the tourist spots. While nice overall I felt disappointed from my stay as I was expecting more for the cost. Cons - room was quite small, only enough space for a bed - local TV didn’t seem to work - restaurant was a constant disappointment. The server would mumble so I couldn’t understand what they would say. The food selection was quite limited and they kept adding an ingredient that would sour the whole dish. I know blue cheese on a burger is a thing but that shouldn’t be the default choice! - for some reason room service woke me up by knocking on my door on my last day 2 hours before checkout to clean my room. Pros - location is very convenient for the nearby tourist spots - great gym - beautiful foyer - clean, newly built rooms with great washrooms.

Def one of the coolest hotels I’ve stayed in. Loved it so much, we stayed here again when we got back from Scotland. Pretty good location and very close to tower bridge and other things to see. Rooms as a little small and you have to watch out for the pocket doors, they can hurt your hands if you’re not paying attention. We had a small accident twice with the bathroom doors. But the rooms look amazing, service was great, the bar in the hotel was on point with great staff. Would def stay here again if I come back to London.

Decent hotel, yet not worth the nightly rate. The overall experience was a 5/10, despite a spectacular grand foyer. The food was ok, the service was good but did not justify the high price… You can find a better Marriott experience all together in London!

While I only stayed 2 nights at the Dixon, I had a tremendous stay. I was offered to upgrade rooms upon arrival and ended up with a great view of the Tower Bridge. The location is quite convenient as well, close to surrounding attractions and the tube which you can take anywhere in the city. The service was the best part. Roberto at the front desk was kind and helpful, and really went above and beyond to make sure my stay was to my liking, he even offered to carry my extremely heavy bags out to my cab, which he also called for me. All in all, I would stay here again and recommend to anyone staying in London!

This hotel could be so much better. I’ve stayed here twice and it always feels like it hasn’t got enough staff. Any request to your room (such as an extra blanket or an ice bucket) will require at least two calls and 15-20 mins wait. Try calling the front desk for service and they might not answer, requiring 5-6 attempts before someone picks it. Housekeeping are absolutely terrible. It is highly unlikely they do anything beyond the absolute minimum - like doing your bed. They don’t bother picking up and changing cups/glasses that have been used. I assume they are under a lot of pressure to get through a lot of rooms due to lack of staff. Dust in the room just goes uncleaned. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again except for the fact that they are the closest Marriott group hotel to my office in London. This hotel always seems to be fully booked - surely they can hire and train more staff to deliver a decent service to its guests.
