This was a Memorable Sunday Brunch! The service was top notch from the entrance to the dining. My daughter and I felt like royalty. The food was amazing. The best scrambled eggs and cheese I've eaten so far in London! The service was impeccable! There hospitality is A1! We will definitely visit here again on my next trip!

Photographing my first wedding after the renovation was a joy, thanks to the impressive quality of work done. Every corner showcased beautifully finished custom-made Italian pieces, creating a picturesque setting. The bright interior made capturing moments seamless. The exceptional service further enhanced the experience, and I look forward to returning soon for more weddings.

‘SIMPLY THE BEST’ I treated my partner to a festive cream tea for her birthday as this is very much her thing, personally I was slightly apprehensive as it’s not normally my thing however I have to say that I was completely blown away by the whole experience. The venue itself is mind blowing, as soon as you walk through the door you really do know that you have arrived at The Dorchester, staff dressed impeccably and very friendly, the stunning decoration throughout The Dorchester is breathtaking too. The festive cream tea itself, starts with a glass of champagne where you are given a choice of 5 (priced accordingly) you are then served a range of sandwiches to sample, followed by a small meringue with ice cream. Then the real business starts with the most incredible scones, Cornish clotted cream, cherry compote & a selection of individually made cakes! We would definitely recommend a visit to The Dorchester and we will also definitely be returning.

High Tea: The hotel is gorgeous, the presentation is gorgeous, selection of teas and champagne is great but the air of snobbery is stifling. The promenade helpers were smug about every miss step in etiquette I tried to gracefully acknowledge I'd committed. In hind sight I'm offended not embarrassed by the interactions. Our waiter was AMAZING. Literally the BEST, not a negative review about his service. I genuinely hope he gets paid top dollar. However, upon arrival to the hotel I was literally stepped in front of by a random hotel staffer who wouldn't let me pass until I told her we had a high tea reservation I said "This is the Dorchester right"? Cool, diamonds and a tea skirt; still looked poor I guess. 🙄 What should have felt like a special occasion, instead felt like the expeience Jack on the titanic had in first class dining. I found myself wishing for a wealthy widow with no scruples to lend me her mink and quick wit so I'd fit in. If you are privileged enough, to have the $450 bucks to blow on tiny (delicious) sandwiches and tea; consider taking it somewhere that doesn't miss the mark on service. This place was stuffy and unwelcoming from the get go. It would have been better to not having any human touch points prior to the parlor than many negative ones before we even get our tea. (Again this is all with the exception of our incredible italian server, we only stayed as long as we did because he was so kind and thoughtful. 👌🍋)
