I'm from Germany and I stayed 5 nights here. It was one of the best hostels I've been to! It's totally relaxed and you can find peace and quiet when you need it. The beds are very good and the kitchen has always been very clean. The bathrooms are large and also very clean. The staff are an absolute 10/10 totally lovely and very helpful. Next time I am in Queenstown I will come back here!!!

Amelia who worked the front desk was phenomenal. She had great recommendations and she was extremely helpful at check-in. She is the reason I am giving the hostel 5 stars. The hostel itself does the job for the price because the fridges get really full and they could use more bathrooms. The bunk beds were nice because they all had charging ports and curtains. The rooms also had lockers for your valuables. The location is about a 10 minute from the city center which is great because it's not worth dealing with parking and traffic.

Tucked a little ways from the hustle and bustle of the city centre in a quiet neighbourhood is an unassuming hostel full of Kiwi charm. Caitlin was extremely kind and understanding of my request and the room was spacious. The charging port was a little loose though, so my phone wasn't always charged properly and some of the bathrooms lacked hooks and mirrors, but I enjoyed my stay overall :)

Everything I look for in a hostel. Stayed in an 8-bed dorm, comfy beds, cubby style with good privacy, own light & charging ports, large storage underneath Lots of kitchen space, and a good communal room with board games, instruments etc Parking: there are around 10 spots on sight first come first served basis (I personally had no issues). However if you can't park directly at the hostel one street over there is lots of spaces with no time restrictions. Only thing I'd love to see, is a small shelf beside the light / plugs (moreso for my glasses & phone) but that's a tiny nitpick. Would definitely come back
