We had a very pleasant stay. The room was modern, spacious and clean. The hotel staff were very helpful. There was a good selection of food during breakfast. The location was great as it was only a 2 minute walk to the bus stop which in less than 10 minutes would take you to schipol airport. Would recommend and visit again!

Beautiful room, with bathroom and toilet included (separate, as per Dutch tradition, which happens to be convenient if the room is shared). The TV is very easy to interact with through your phone, and though we didn't partake room service is available. The check-in was quick, painless and made pleasant by friendly staff. The room is easily accessible through an elevator. If your destination is Schiphol or Hoofddorp, it is in a very convenient location. However, the trip to Amsterdam is a bit longer, so if you hope to get into town from this hotel, make sure to budget in 30 to 45 minutes at the very least.

After a last minute late night flight cancellation, I ended up making my way over to The Florian. Just two stops on the bus, it is easy to get to from the airport. The staff have been so very helpful and I can't thank them enough for accommodating me so late. My unexpected extra night in Amsterdam has been lovely. The hotel is beautiful, the room clean and spacious and very modern, the bed very comfortable (and big!) and breakfast was excellent.

I ended up at 'The Florian' for one night after unexpected circumstances. I arrived tired as hell in the night here and unfortunately couldn't even get a good night of sleep in this hotel. My room had the loudest ventilation I've ever witnessed in a hotel room. Unfortunately, windows were not able to open and the ventilation could not be adjusted. Also, there were long hairs on my bedsheets which I had to remove. Room cleanliness is simply a joke nowadays at so many hotels. Furthermore, the soap bottle was almost empty. If I wasn't tired as hell and it wasn't in the middle of the night, I would have asked for another room or even asked for a refund immediately. The only good things I can say are: good shower/interior and close to the bus that takes you to the airport.
