Amazing Boutique Hotel in the heart of Athens. The rooms are spacious, well designed and comfortable. The restaurant on the ground floor (Muse Bistro) is absolutely amazing, with dishes to die for! A must try, before or after a drink in the vibrant neighbourhood of the hotel. Raya B.

I recently stayed at The Gem Society Hotel, and I'm thrilled to share what a fantastic experience it was. The staff's warm welcome, impeccable room, and top-notch service exceeded my expectations. BED BUG! Unfortunately on the morning of check out we woke up and noticed a bed bug on our bed. We told reception, and were disappointed at their indifference or lack of alarm at this news. For us, it was horrifying! Having been abroad numerous times, at numerous hotels, we have never once found a bed bug. When we arrived home we took action to make sure we didn't bring any with us inside our home - this led to a number of pieces of clothing and bags ruined due to having to wash everything on a high heat. We contacted the hotel about this - twice! - and they have ignored us both times. This is very, very disappointing. We appreciate bed bugs are something a hotel never wants to encounter. But for a 4 star hotel to be almost indifferent to them and then ignore any contact is terrible, terrible form. Save yourself the stress and headache!

The stay wasn’t pleasant at all and I would not stay in the hotel again. Overrated 1- the room: magnetic drawers do not close. So u basically have a hazard in the room when moving around 2- bathroom: there is mold in the shower on the corners- not clean. Amenities are not added u actually need to ask them to send you which is very strange in a 4* hotel. 3- the AC is exactly on the shower exit - good luck not getting sick after a hot shower. 4- breakfast: very poor selection with no flexibility in customization 5- no flexibility on check out time 6- there is some sort of a nightclub under the hotel and the music is way too loud 7-the best is for last: house keeping just walked in the room while I was sleeping with no warning or knocking at 8 AM. And did the same in the next room ( doors are super close)

Great location, the rooms are quite cosy but beware it can get noisy. You are in the perfect spot to go out and visit Athens. Parking is not included and can get pricey if you come by car. The restaurant is very good especially in the morning for breakfast, a bit expensive in my opinion for the other meals but still amazingly good. The spa is nice even if a bit of a work in progress in 2023. Might change.
