I stayed here recently with my wife for a few nights while we were passing through Amsterdam on our 25th anniversary. We chose this location based off of the reviews and the location. It was an excellent experience! We had a late check in, but the staff was very accommodating. They provided us with a complementary cocktail after checking in. The hotel is a fairly small and boutique, which makes it very romantic. The lobby area was very warm and inviting - a nice place to have drink and relax. The stairs are winding and narrow to the upper floors, but there is an elevator. The room itself was perfect. Fairly large with a small desk and a wardrobe cabinet to store your clothes. The bathroom was very nice, with two sinks. It has a heated floor! Shower water pressure was good. The location for walking around the city was perfect. It was about a 10 minute walk to the central train station. We had a great experience here, highly recommended!

Visited during December 2023 Although never visited any other hotel before in Amsterdam, being my first time, am determined to repeat my stay in this Hotel whenever visiting Amsterdam again. I loved the easy-reach location and the warm welcoming. The room I specifically stayed at was nicely decorated with historical touches and wood beams theme, which gave old home style feeling. I really loved waking up with the smell of the old wood right above my head. I’ll make sure I re-stay in the same room. Thanks to the guest’s notable attention and good care, which made the stay of high quality.

We had a very nice stay at this cute hotel. The room was ample and very nice. Industrial type decoration, very beautiful. Breakfast was very good also. The personnel were all very polite.

Hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. You can hear everything in the rooms above so be prepared for lots of foot steps while you’re trying to sleep. I booked with room with my credit card company. Upon arrival, we owed an additional $96 in fees and $100 smoking deposit. For breakfast, there are menus on the table that very clearly states breakfast is included with your stay. Upon check out, we were told that we own an additional 105 euros for breakfast. Be cautious of fees and extra costs that are not properly communicated.

I’m sure there are a lot of great hotels in Amsterdam but when we return we are coming back to this one! Not only were the staff friendly and exuberantly helpful, they were the best we’ve ever experienced, and we travel a lot. The location couldn’t be better and I guess the beds are comfortable because we slept for 11 hours to recover from our jet lag. The breakfast each day was great and as others have mentioned, well managed in the cozy dining area. This is the place.
