We booked a room with a balcony. On the first day the power went out in our room, which they called the repair guy to fix. Then overnight our air conditioner broke and was leaking into the room. They moved us to a smaller room without a balcony. We were still charged the price of the room with a balcony, despite being told they would refund the difference. Otherwise the staff was nice. Breakfast across the street was amazing. Also the location was right next to the beach and walking distance to the shuk

I went two times to the Herbert. It is a cosy, classy, open-minded place to stay. A place where you can enjoy the bar, the beach, and the beach-view from your room. It is perfetcly placed to enjoy the downtown. And the staff is the best in the world. I absolutely advice both lonely travelers like me and families to give it a try. MM

I had the pleasure of staying at The Herbert in Tel Aviv and it was truly a remarkable experience. From the moment I arrived, Nevo and his team warmly welcomed me, setting the tone for an exceptional stay. The highlight of The Herbert is its stunning view of Jerusalem Beach. Waking up to the sight of the beautiful coastline and feeling the gentle breeze was a rejuvenating experience. It created a serene and inspiring atmosphere, perfect for both business and leisure travelers. The room at The Herbert was a haven of tranquility. Thoughtfully designed and with a quiet and perfect AC, it offered the utmost comfort and ensured a peaceful stay. The attention to detail and the serene ambiance surpassed my expectations. The hotel exudes a unique charm that sets it apart with an air of simplicity and elegance that permeates throughout. My mom and I had a blast staying at your hotel for three nights. Our room was spotless, the staff of the hotel is courteous, helpful and friendly. On the first night, we slept in a room with no sea view. The next day we asked to upgrade to a room with a balcony and sea view, and although the hotel was fully booked, the hotel manager, Nevo, went above and beyond to accommodate our request. The rooms with the sea view and balcony are priceless. Keep in mind that the rooms are small, so having a balcony gave us the space we needed. We enjoyed having our morning coffee with the sea breeze. We opted for the breakfast buffet, which was fresh and delicious with so many options to choose from (Breakfast is served just a few feet away at their other chain hotel Opera Tel-Aviv). Inside the room they had a coffee machine, pods, tea and water bottles, which was a nice touch. There are a few more free perks that we didn't have time to explore, such as bikes, gym and pool in their other hotel. We'll try to explore next time. Location wise, you can't beat it. You are literally on the beach and boardwalk. 15 min walk to Shuk HaCarmel, Dizengoff Center and Neve-Tzedek, 30-minute walk to Tel-Aviv Yaffo and Shuk Ha'Pishpeshim. Plenty of restaurants and cafes. A creamery, two general stores and Abouelafia Bakery are all located literally by the entrance to the hotel. I can't wait to come back again with my mom. Thank you, Nevo and your wonderful team, for such an enjoyable and memorable stay.
